Situated on the carrum foreshore oval in patterson lakes we have a clubroom with outstanding position and facilities.
Welcome to one of melbournes friendliest and well supported fishing clubs, established in 1995 Poseidon fishing club has been located on the bay in carrum for nine years in a fantastic club room used solely for club meetings, Competitions and other social events.
Poseidon fishing club prides itself on its ability to give back to members a venue which on a monthly basis they can discuss all aspects of fishing. The club runs a monthly competition for all members to enter in various fishing aspects.ie Whiting comp, Calamari comp, Tuna comp , Snapper comp etc.
Within the club rooms we regularly invite speakers and sponsors to speak and provide demonstrations about various topics, ie Safety, Regulation, fishing techniques, etc. With a diverse member group we are able to provide knowledge and experience to all members at every monthly meeting.
As members you become a family of keen anglers who not only share a passion you do but enable you to create a friendship outside of the club whether it be at the local boat ramp or one of the annual dinner dances or competitions.
Once a year the club holds a dinner dance at a venue outside of the club. We also have a Christmas party for all the families to come along and enjoy.. Prizes rides and a feast are guaranteed on the day for everyone.
We welcome and invite all keen fishing women, men and children to our meeting and competitions
